Graduation Night - Volunteer Teaching

Last week Stray's English class graduated and we made sure we were back from Pattaya in time for him to attend. Here's a few photos that don't need any words....
...except perhaps, blue band aid. I suppose if you have to wear one on you nose on graduation night, you may as well make a *statement* ;)

Congratulations to all the kids in passing not only English, but also Thai...and to Stray, who will be thoroughly enjoying the time he has left teaching the students.

Thanks. It was a very happy occasion, for most.

Was it appropriate for Stray to be drinking a strawberry daquiri whilst pretending to shoot somebody?

Is this the correct message to be giving them?

Well done to Stray and the kids, hopefully their new language skills will help at least a few of them build successful lives and careers wherever they may choose to go.

@Martyn Stray says thanks Martyn. Learning a second or third language is no easy task...I wish I was four again :(

Fun and rewarding day all round by the looks...

Those 3 boys in the sixth photo look like a handful (in a delightful, no harm done, Thai kind of way!)

@Philip Don't you just want to pinch their cheeks?

You know they don't get to take their English workbooks home, which was a bit of a 'huh?' for us...until I read your post ;)
